This is what you do if you are a seller….
Fees for selling – 17.6% of the hammer price + $3 per lot sold – no sale no fee
Bring your items into the auction rooms, Monday – Saturday between 10 and 4pm (except for the Saturday before the auction, this is viewing day only)
Please be aware that we reserve the right to refuse all or some of your items
If you are wanting to sell furniture we encourage customers to email us photos to ensure it is the type of furniture that will sell at our auction rooms
Please note; your items are not covered by any insurance once they have been left on the premises. Optional insurance for your goods is available at an extra 2% of estimated/sale price
If our truck is available we can collect your items, at a cost of $100 / hour (truck & 2 people) or we can recommend carriers
Once you have delivered your items we will fill out a Consignor form
Read the terms and conditions, then sign the form
You will receive a copy of the form
Our auctioneer will put an estimate on your items
Once all of your items are sold (this may take a couple of auctions) we will forward a cheque to you or deposit the payment into your bank account
We will send an itemised statement with your cheque, please note that it is difficult to mention every item that was included in a sundry lot
If your items do not sell at an auction we will advise you whether it is worthwhile to hold the items over until the next auction
